Minimum income, if implemented well, will solve a lot of problems of Indian people. As the present government in opposition is promising minimum income scheme, if they are voted back in power. These are the two major reasons. Apart from these two there are many other reasons that combine to create a vicious circle of economic disparity that is making the reach richer and poor poorer. Social welfare is an important aspect of governing. In India there are a lot of cases of farmers, no matter which government it is. Often a plan look good before implementing but after implementation there are many issues that come up. A joint committee will help in solving the issues out. Often a popular opinion is not valued and people do not get to speak of their own opinion before a plan is passed. The popular poll is mostly conducted after a particular scheme is brought in practice. In such practice there are many plans that work wonderfully but some fail to do the needful to the people of the nation. Literacy plays an important role here. In India a lot of people are not educated which makes them deprived of their rights and duties. Duties and rights go hand in hand. When people are literate they know how to practice their rights and also abide by their duties. Here a better scheme than minimum income could be creation of more jobs and also raising the literacy rate which is going to be very helpful for the future generation of India. In this regard a crucial role can be played by the NGO’s. A nonprofit organization works diligently for the uplifting of the society which acts as a helping body to the government. Thankfully, in India, there are many NGOs that are working in for betterment of many sections of society. With all these development working together, the minimum income scheme will be better applied. It is important that the governmental bodies concentrate on all round development of Indian citizen.
